BACKGROUND.
Popular media isn't interested in telling the whole story on any issue. One. It cost money. Two. It takes imagination. To effectively explain an issue, tell the story more succinctly with an illustration from a patriotic poster. These quick-to-read, quick-to-understand message delivery systems have been around since George Washington was in knickers. They urged us to support the doughboys in World War I and they buoyed our spirits during the dark days of World War II. The posters can used as a shock prop, a wake up call, spread ideas, promote causes, urge conservation of resources, sway public opinion and unite people, and as a rallying cry to help free America from foreign oil dependence through expanded use of alternative energy. You can be sure FOIL posters would be banned in Baghdad and sure suicide in Saudi Arabia.

USE.
The series of FOIL posters (not all seen here) need to be placed in high traffic areas to create the dialogue about America's dependence on foreign oil and the alternatives. Office building, plants, service stations, truck stops, schools, universities and by producers of alternative fuels and not to mention offices of truly patriotic politicians. The goal is to awaken everyday Americans, oil companies, non-profit energy think-tank groups and government bureaucrats to see the vital need to increase asupport home-grown American energy sources like wind power, hydrogen-powered cars, solar and other renewable power sources. FOIL posters make a desperately needed wake-up statement for all Americans frustrated and angry about and the high cost of gas.
